In line with the scientific trend to solve the problem of selection in hockey in the State of Libya due to the difficulty of obtaining large numbers of young people to apply tests to, The researcher saw that the method of artificial neural networks technology is capable of solving this problem, as it is possible through it to develop a battery of physical tests and set its own standards through application to small numbers that cannot be treated statistically with the same efficiency using previous methods.
