Abstract

The research deals with studying the phenomenon of political leadership in Libya, which is one of the major titles that dominated the scene during the period between 1911-1923 and its role in the resistance movement against Italian colonialism in Libya, and the major problems facing any agreement or settlement between local leaderships and the unification of resistance. The importance of the subject lies in the fact that the phenomenon of leadership in Libya and its driving forces are a complex phenomenon linked to the diversity of the social, political and economic structure, and its elements pose a puzzle that is difficult to understand and explain. The process of revealing its complexities and the depth of its complex social depths and knowing its foundations and conditions lies through the structural structure of society in Libya and knowing its diverse social paths in the geographical space according to economic, political and social variables, then the manner and multiple mechanisms by which individuals and groups built their leadership entity within the framework of their political work towards monopolizing leadership, and the country went through a difficult labor between political groups that did not succeed in overcoming
