The Abbasi poet: Auf bin Muhalam Al-khuzai, his translation and poetry

Abstract

In our research, wediscussed the translation of the poet, and I transferred the hadith to focus on his family and tribe and that he was one of the literary narrators. I mentioned that his origin was a mawāli, Ubni Shaybān, and I explained his relationship with Tahir bin Al-Hussein and how he singled him out, as he remained with him for thirty-three years, and this continued until he reached the age of eighty years. His age and his longing for his family, and after that I began to extract his poetry from the various sources and arranged it according to the rhyme and mentioned the rhyme of each poem, then I

explained the poetry attributed to him by others, and I explained the sources of each verse, comparing the poems and giving preference to what was supported by the evidence and reassured our consciences
