Obstacles Facing the Social Worker Practiced in Educational Institutions

Abstract

The study addressed the obstacles facing the practicing social worker in educational institutions; with the aim of identifying the obstacles related to work conditions, and revealing the obstacles related to professional qualification; and the personal obstacles of the social worker. To identify these obstacles on the ground, a deliberate sample of social workers was selected from some primary and secondary schools in the municipality of Sabratha. The study was divided into two main sections: a preliminary theoretical section in which the problem of the study, its importance and objectives were presented, and another applied section in which the axes of the field study and its results were presented. The descriptive analytical approach was relied upon as it is the most appropriate for this study and its procedures using the questionnaire
