About the Journal

The University of Zawia Journal of Medical Sciences (UZJMS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed publication that aims to play a major role in understanding and advancing diseases related to medicine and different sciences. A special focus should be given to medical sciences research because of the importance of human health and the many emergency medical and clinical problems that are associated with it. proving, therefore, the need for a unified and improved platform for information sharing.

The journal operates under an ongoing (continuous) publishing model, whereby accepted articles are published online immediately after completing the peer-review, editorial, and production processes. Articles are organized into two issues per volume, corresponding to the periods January–June and July–December, ensuring timely dissemination of research while maintaining a structured issue-based volume system.

UZJMS is currently published under the supervision of the Scientific Research and Consultancy Center at the University of Zawia and operates through an advanced Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The journal is committed to maintaining rigorous academic and ethical standards through a double-blind peer-review process.
