Obstacles facing practical training students in the Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Department within treatment centers in Tripoli

Abstract

The study aims to identify the obstacles facing practical training students in the Department of Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Tripoli, within treatment centers. This is done by identifying the most important obstacles facing students during practical training, related to the students themselves, related to the academic supervisor, related to the cooperating supervisor within the physical therapy center, and related to the physical therapy center. The researchers used the descriptive survey method. The study sample consisted of students from the Department of Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, totaling (50) students, who were intentionally selected. A questionnaire was designed. The results of the study showed that there are obstacles facing field training students in the Department of Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Tripoli, during the implementation of practical training within treatment centers. The prevailing opinion, related to the students themselves, related to the cooperating supervisor within the physical therapy center, and related to the physical therapy center, indicated that they contribute significantly, and the prevailing opinion The overall score for the axis "Obstacles Facing Field Training Students in the Department of Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Related to the Academic Supervisor" was "contributing to a limited degree," according to the responses of the entire study sample
