Abstract

This study shows the movements of Eastern, Moroccan, and Andalusian notables in Libyan cities, and demonstrated the originality of the Libyan cultural identity through the precedence of the Libyan cities and their notables in the classification of the jurisprudential works that became famous and whose authors became famous in the cities of the Islamic world, and adding to these movements the role of the connected scientific bond that linked Muslim scholars from the East and the West. The study traced these movements according to the perception of intellectual and cultural communication among scholars of Islamic cities at that time.
