Lecture et production écrite en classe de FLE : quelle relation ?
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study examines the impact of reading on the development of linguistic, cultural, and aesthetic skills among foreign language learners. Reading and writing are not simply means of expression; rather, they are complementary tools that contribute to enhancing comprehension and stimulating creativity. Reading helps acquire linguistic and stylistic models, while writing contributes to deepening thinking and enhancing knowledge comprehension.
However, a large segment of learners face difficulties in written production. Therefore, integrating reading and writing into educational activities is essential for developing thinking and refining linguistic expression. Through conscious reading, learners develop their ability to organize ideas and use language effectively. Conversely, writing helps improve their comprehension of texts and analyze their content more accurately.
Thus, the complementary relationship between reading and writing plays a pivotal role in language learning, facilitating the acquisition of essential communication and critical thinking skills.
