The Appearance of Marriage in Rural Society, a Field Study on the Family in the Village of "Shalgoda", the Municipality of Al-Zawia Al-Janubiya, "Libya"

The research aims to reveal the appearance of marriage in the rural community in Libya, specifically the village of Shalguda.
This research is considered descriptive and analytical, and adopted the social survey method by sample, questionnaire form and basket for collecting data, and the convenient non-probability sample method was followed in selecting the items from the research community consisting of (60) families, with (60 husbands) and (60 wives).
The research reached a set of results, the most important of which are:
1- The results showed that there is no complete appearance of marriage in the rural community, whether among husbands or wives.
2- The results indicated that the appearance of marriage among husbands and wives was very weak.
3- The results show that despite the weakness of the appearance of marriage, wives were more appearance than husbands.
The research came out with a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:
1- Activating the role of religious discourse to define the dangers of extremism and extravagance in relation to marriage.
2- Activating the media in all its forms to define the positives and negatives of the appearance of marriage.
