Abstract

it is widely recognized that the phenomenon of commercial fraud poses aserious challenge with negative impacts on various economic and social levels. It undermines the trust between merchants and consumers and leads to a decline in the quality of products available in markets. To address this issue, Islamic law presents a clear vision with carefully studied mechanisms and tools. Among these applied mechanisms is "hisbah," an effective tool aimed at rigorous market oversight. This involves meticulous supervision, including the inspection of scales and measures used and ensuring they meet required standards, directly combating all forms of deceit that may affect goods or services. Through the ages, hisbah has proven its effectiveness and significance in enhancing economic and social stability by establishing principles of integrity and transparency in commercial dealings, thereby significantly contributing to building a community based on mutual trust and cooperation among all its members.
