About the Journal

A peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal issued by the University of Zawia. It focuses on publishing research and studies in the fields of sports and educational sciences. The journal is semiannual. It was established in 2003 under the name World of Sports and Educational Sciences Journal, and its name was changed in 2022 to University of Zawia Journal for the World of Sports and Educational Sciences.

The journal publishes in the following specializations: (Health Sciences and Motor Rehabilitation, Sports Training, Teaching Methods, and related Educational Sciences). The journal seeks to support scientific research and exchange knowledge among researchers and academics locally and internationally. It publishes original research in either Arabic or English. All submitted research and articles undergo rigorous scientific peer-review in accordance with approved academic standards.

The journal adopts a continuous publishing model (Ongoing / Continuous Publishing Model), whereby accepted articles are published electronically immediately after completing the scientific peer-review, editorial, and technical production procedures. Published research is organized within two issues per volume: the first issue covers the period from January to June, and the second issue covers the period from July to December, ensuring rapid availability of research.

The journal is currently issued under the supervision of the Center for Research and Scientific Consultancy at the University of Zawia and uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to manage submission, peer-review, and publication processes. The journal is committed to applying the highest standards of scientific and ethical quality through a double-blind peer-review system.
