The Role of Identifying Training Needs in the Process of Replacing Foreign Human Resources with National Ones in the Oil Sector: An Applied Study at Zueitina Oil Company

This study aimed to analyze the impact of identifying training needs on the process of replacing national human resources in the oil sector. The study focused on training needs identification (the independent variable) and the process of replacing national human resources (the dependent variable). A purposive sample of 53 individuals was selected، with 51 questionnaires subjected to statistical analysis using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS)، after excluding 2 incomplete responses. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach to interpret the relationship between variables. study has reached a number of results:
- The study results showed that the company has a robust، systematic، and effective process for identifying training needs based on job analysis، with clear emphasis on aligning training with corporate objectives.
- Findings highlighted the necessity to focus on providing On-the-Job Training programs.
Recommendations:
- Company management should consistently implement training programs according to the strategic objectives pursued by the subject company.
- The company should emphasize On-the-Job Training programs as a primary focus.
