Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of awareness among faculty members at the University of Zawia of the importance of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technology into accounting education. A descriptive and analytical methodology was used to achieve the study's objectives. A standardized questionnaire was distributed to a sample of faculty members in the Accounting Department at the University of Zawia to collect data related to faculty members' awareness of the importance of integrating AI technology into accounting education. The study population consists of all faculty members in the Accounting Department at the University of Zawia. The researcher reached the most important conclusions, including that faculty members are sufficiently aware of the importance of integrating AI technologies into accounting education programs. Based on the research results, we recommend providing the necessary technical infrastructure to support the use of AI technologies in accounting education. We also recommend including specialized AI courses within the accounting curriculum to ensure improved quality of accounting education outcomes.
