Abstract

The study aimed to determine the impact of training on improving employee performance by identifying the level of training needs, designing training programs, and implementing training programs during an applied study at the Zawiya Oil Refining Company.

The study concluded with a set of results representing the existence of a significant and correlative relationship between training and improved employee performance.

The analysis results also revealed a positive, direct relationship between training and improved employee performance.

There is also a significant and correlative relationship between the independent sub-variables, namely, identifying training needs, designing training programs, and implementing training programs, in improving employee performance.

Accordingly, the study recommended the following:

Work to identify employee training needs based on performance evaluation results, the need to ensure that the hours allocated for courses are sufficient.
