Abstract

This paper examines the role of integrating digital governance with strategic planning in achieving financial sustainability. The study is applied to two branches of a commercial bank (Zawiya and Al-Wakalah), as one of the key financial institutions in the country. It assumes that financial sustainability in the Libyan banking sector depends on effective integration between digital governance practices and strategic planning, particularly within a complex and unstable economic environment.
The study adopts a descriptive–analytical approach and uses a questionnaire to collect data from a random sample of 45 bank employees. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS (version 27). The results indicate a statistically significant relationship between digital governance, strategic planning, and financial sustainability.
The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of strengthening digital governance, enhancing partnerships, encouraging community engagement, and integrating digital strategic planning into the organizational structure of banks to support sustainable value creation.
