At the end of this research, I conclude that the issue of pairing and dissonance of sounds is one of the important topics that is based on the Arab doctrine of mixing sounds with each other in a way that suits the taste of the Arab person in arranging the sounds he pronounces. This issue has attracted the attention of Arabic scholars since ancient times. They have drawn attention to it and mentioned it. It contains opinions and sayings that I mentioned as much as I could in this brief research.
The research results can be summarized in the following points:
1- The farther apart the sounds are in one word, the better its composition.
2- If close sounds are combined, and this is unavoidable, the stronger sound takes precedence over the weaker one.
3- If the two sounds are combined, and there is no room to present the stronger of the two, then the solution is by assimilation or substitution to achieve phonetic harmony and facilitate the pronunciation process.
4- The closeness of the sounds causes heaviness in pronunciation, especially in the throat sounds and the extremes of the palate, due to the thickness and rigidity of the muscles of the two areas.
5- No Arabic word of four or five origins is devoid of dhalaqa letters.
