The University of Zawia Rewaq Alhkma Journal (UZRHJ) is a biannual, peer-reviewed, open-access, and indexed scholarly journal published by the University of Zawia, Libya. The journal is dedicated to the publication of original, high-quality research in philosophy and closely related interdisciplinary fields. UZRHJ provides an academic forum for rigorous philosophical inquiry that engages with classical, modern, and contemporary intellectual traditions, with particular attention to Arab, Islamic, Greek, and Western philosophical thought.

The journal publishes manuscripts in Arabic and English and welcomes theoretical, analytical, comparative, and critical studies that contribute meaningfully to philosophical scholarship and its applications in human knowledge, ethics, culture, and society.

UZRHJ adopts an ongoing (continuous) publishing model, whereby accepted articles are published online immediately upon completion of the peer-review, editorial, and production processes. For organizational purposes, articles are grouped into two issues per volume, covering the periods January–June and July–December, ensuring both rapid dissemination of research and a clearly structured volume system.

The journal operates under the supervision of the Scientific Research and Consultancy Center at the University of Zawia and is managed through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. UZRHJ applies adouble-blind peer-review process and adheres to international standards of academic integrity, transparency, and publication ethics, in line with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
