Abstract

This study examines the impact of myth on the emergence of Greek philosophy, arguing that the shift from mythos to logos was not a sudden rupture but a gradual transformation that reformulated mythic conceptions within a rational and demonstrative framework، Myth provided a comprehensive worldview of the cosmos and humanity, preparing the Greek mind to question origins, order, and justice، With the Pre-Socratics began the rationalization of natural phenomena, while Plato and Aristotle continued to employ and critique myth within philosophical discourse، The study concludes that philosophy emerged from myth through a methodological transformation in modes of understanding and expression.
