The Impact of Transformational Leadership Style on Improving Institutional Performance: A Field Study on the General Administration of the Libya Insurance Company

Abstract

     The study aimed to explore the impact of transformational leadership style on improving organizational performance at the General Administration of Libya Insurance Company. A descriptive approach was employed, and data were analyzed using the SPSS software for statistical analysis. A total of (187) questionnaires were used in the analysis. The key findings of the study showed that the level of transformational leadership style at Libya Insurance Company is high, with a mean score of (3.39), indicating that approximately (62.3%) of employees believe in the presence of effective transformational leadership. Additionally, the results demonstrated that the three dimensions of transformational leadership—Ideal Influence, Inspirational Motivation, and Intellectual Stimulation—significantly affect organizational performance, explaining about (52.8%) of the variations in performance, with a strong relationship between them. One of the most important recommendations is that the company should continue to promote and develop transformational leadership practices, while encouraging and empowering employees to achieve outstanding performance, with the goal of maintaining and strengthening a high level of transformational leadership to enhance organizational performance.
