Peer Review Policy

The journal adopts a rigorous and objective peer-review system to ensure the quality and originality of the published research. The peer review procedures are clarified as follows:

  • Reviewer Selection: The editorial board selects reviewers who are experts in the subject matter of the submitted manuscript and possess the necessary qualifications to evaluate its various aspects (e.g., methodology, originality, scientific significance, and linguistic clarity).
  • Review Type: The journal follows a double-blind peer review In this system, reviewers do not know the identities of the authors, and authors do not know the identities of the reviewers. This approach ensures that evaluations are based solely on the scientific merit and quality of the manuscript, free from any bias.
  • Review Procedure
Once a manuscript passes the initial editorial screening, it is sent to two or three expert reviewers. Reviewers receive a unified evaluation form that covers specific criteria—originality and scientific contribution, scholarly importance and quality, soundness of methodology, clarity of presentation and organisation, accuracy of citation and references, and alignment with the journal’s scope.
Reviewers submit detailed reports that highlight the manuscript’s strengths and weaknesses and make one of four recommendations:
accept, accept with minor revisions, accept with major revisions, or reject.
  • Editorial Decision
The editorial board makes the final decision on the manuscript based on the reviewers’ reports and notifies the author(s) by e-mail. The reviewers’ comments are attached if revisions are required.
  • If the board decides to accept the paper subject to revisions, the authors must implement the requested changes precisely and return a revised version within the stipulated deadline.
    • The revised manuscript may be re-evaluated by the original reviewers or by the editorial board to confirm that all required amendments have been satisfactorily addressed.
  • Overall Objective
This peer-review policy is designed to ensure the publication of high-quality research that advances knowledge in the humanities and social sciences and demonstrates the journal’s commitment to recognised scholarly standards.
