Abstract

This research deals with the significance of colors in the Holy Quran, their impact on the human soul, their moral significance, the associative relationships between colors, and the meanings and significance these colors convey, both literally and metaphorically, through the Quranic interpretations, both ancient and modern. Colors are a sign of God Almighty, and they represent an aspect of the divine miracle. The relationship between language and color is part of the relationship between language and thought. Accordingly, the words denoting color reflect human thought in various stages, and each color represents its positive and negative connotations. It has made the difference in colors a miracle worthy of contemplation, and everything the Quran contains exists in the universe with its types, kinds, and horizons.
