The University of Zawia Journal of Engineering Sciences and Technology (UZJEST) is an open-‎access, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to promoting excellence in research, ‎innovation, and technological advancement across various fields of engineering sciences and ‎technology. The journal operates under a continuous publication model, whereby accepted manuscripts are ‎published online promptly after completing the peer-review, editorial, and production ‎processes. Published articles are organized into two issues per annual volume, covering ‎January–June and July–December, respectively. This publishing approach ensures the timely ‎dissemination of scientific findings while maintaining a structured, issue-based volume system.‎

UZJEST is published under the supervision of the Scientific Research and Consultancy Center at ‎the University of Zawia, Libya, and operates through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, ‎providing an efficient and transparent environment for manuscript submission, peer review, ‎editorial management, and online publication.‎

Aims & Scope

UZJEST aims to support the advancement of engineering sciences and technology by providing a reliable platform for disseminating high-quality research, encouraging innovation, and promoting practical solutions to contemporary engineering challenges. Through rigorous peer review and ethical editorial practices, the journal seeks to contribute to scientific progress and sustainable technological development.

UZJEST serves as a multidisciplinary platform for original and applied research in engineering sciences and technology. The journal publishes articles as soon as they are accepted, with these articles then compiled into two issues per year. The journal welcomes high-quality contributions in the following fields, including but not limited to:

• Mechanical and Industrial Engineering – Mechanical design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, robotics, manufacturing processes, industrial systems, production optimization, and engineering management.
