University of Zawia Journal of Legal and Sharia Sciences Issue

University President’s Decision No. (524) of 2012 AD, as a semi-annual scientific periodical (June - December).

                                                                                :An overview of

As stated in Article Two of the decision to issue the magazine: The expenses and financial rewards for issuing the Journal of Legal and Sharia Sciences shall be in accordance with what was approved by the President of the University.

The journal is concerned with publishing original and innovative research, and is subject to scientific evaluation by specialists.

The specializations in which the magazine is published are as follows:

1 - Sharia sciences.

2 - Criminal law.

3- Private law.

4 - International law.

5 - Public law.

With the grace of God, two issues were issued each year in the month of June, and the other in the month of December of each year. The first volume - Issue (1) was published in December 2012 AD, and the thirteenth volume - Issue (1) was published in June 2024 AD. The research is presented to two referees and a linguistic checker, and the comments of the reviewers and the linguistic checker are taken into account.

The magazine faced some financial dilemmas, especially in rewarding the reviewers and the linguistic checker, as they had not received any financial sum in the past.

Publication fees for the issue:

 1 - The publishing fees for publishing the issue were (100 dinars) for printing from the first volume, issue (2) to the eleventh volume, issue (1).

2 - The publication fees for the issue were (200 dinars) for the eleventh volume, issue (2) and the twelfth volume, issue (2.12).

Publication fees are distributed as follows:

(50) dinars for arbitrators, (50) dinars for the linguistic checker, and (100) for printing and publishing procedures.

3 - The publication fee for the issue was (300 dinars) for the thirteenth volume, issue (13).

Publication fees are distributed as follows::

 (100) dinars for reviewers, (50) dinars for the linguistic checker, (100) dinars for printing and publishing procedures, and (50) dinars for the magazine’s expenses.
