Center-Margin-Dialectic Relationship-Similarity and Difference-The Libyan Case.Abstract
This research examines the nature of the dialectical relationship between what is central and what is marginal. The relationship between them represents one of the most important problems that philosophical thought, in its intellectual and social aspects, has been addressing and attempting to resolve. This research is likely to clarify the nature of the dialectical situation between the center and the periphery, which we live amidst, and which also directly and consciously affects human societies in a way that may lead to the fragmentation of their cultural, social, and political fabric and their economic potential. This is due to an important consideration that the dialectical conflict between them is between two contrasting models in society: the model of the center, which possesses the elements of power, and the model of the periphery, which complains of a lack of potential, enslavement, and social marginalization.
