Abstract

This research aims to highlight the pivotal role that research questions play in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of scientific studies. It explores the relationship between the accuracy of research questions and research outcomes, as well as ways to develop researchers’ skills in formulating these questions. The core problem of the study stems from the need for a deeper understanding of how well-formulated resear0ch questions influence various stages of the research process—from selecting the methodology and data collection tools to the practical applicability of the results.


The study addresses a set of research questions focusing on the nature of the relationship between question clarity and research quality, their impact on methodology selection, the challenges researchers face in formulating effective questions,  the importance of developing these skills, particularly among postgraduate students. The research aims to analyze this relationship, identify barriers to effective question formulation, and propose strategies for enhancing researchers’ abilities in this area.


The importance of this research lies in its theoretical contribution to enriching existing literature on research methodology and its practical insights that may support the design of training programs for researchers. It also contributes to improving the quality of scientific research by raising awareness of the importance of crafting precise and purposeful research questions, leading to more accurate and reliable results.


The study adopted a descriptive methodology based on a literature review of related sources and previous studies. It was limited to  year 2025 and focused specifically on the topic of "The Importance of Research Questions ."
