وجهات نظر طلاب اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية تجاه دراسة الرواية كمتطلب إجباري في البرامج الجامعية للغة الإنجليزية

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استقصاء آراء طلبة اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية حول دراسة الرواية كمادة إجبارية في قسم اللغة الإنجليزية بكلية الآداب بجامعة الزاوية، ليبيا. اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج المختلط (الكمي والنوعي معا)، حيث تم توزيع استبانة تضمنت أسئلة مغلقة وأخرى مفتوحة على 28 طالباً وطالبة موزعين على ثلاثة فصول دراسية. حللت البيانات الكمية باستخدام الإحصاء الوصفي، بينما حللت البيانات النوعية باستخدام التحليل الموضوعي. أظهرت النتائج أن الطلبة يحملون اتجاهات إيجابية نحو دراسة الرواية كمادة إجبارية، حيث أدركوا فوائد متعددة لها، من أبرزها: اكتساب مفردات لغوية جديدة، وتحسين مهارات فهم النصوص واستيعابها، وفهم ثقافات الآخرين وعاداتهم، وتنمية التفكير الناقد، والقدرة على التعاطف مع الشخصيات المختلفة وفهم مشاعرهم. غير أن الطلبة واجهوا تحديات كبيرة، كان أبرزها صعوبة المفردات اللغوية المستعملة في بعض الروايات، يليها ضيق الوقت اللازم لإنهاء قراءة الرواية، وعدم فهم بعض الاشارات الثقافية الواردة في النصوص. كما أعرب الطلبة عن تفضيلهم الواضح للروايات المعاصرة على الكلاسيكية، وللأساليب التدريسية التفاعلية مثل المناقشات الصفية، وتمثيل الأدوار، واستخدام الوسائط المتعددة. تسهم هذه الدراسة في إثراء المعرفة حول اراء طلبة اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية بليبيا حول تضمين الراوية كمادة اجبارية. يستخلص من النتائج أهمية الاختيار الدقيق للروايات التي تتناسب مع مستوى الطلبة واهتماماتهم، واعتماد طرق تدريس تفاعلية تشجع على المشاركة والحوار، وتوفير دعم كاف للمفردات اللغوية لمساعدة الطلبة على تجاوز صعوبة المفردات. هذا يعزز فعالية دراسة الرواية كمادة اجبارية في أقسام اللغة الإنجليزية.
