Abstract

 


This research paper investigates the effectiveness of guidance programs in developing social skills to reduce aggressive behavior. The paper reviews relevant literature on the causes and manifestations of aggressive behavior, as well as the concept and importance of social skills in behavior modification.The research analyzes several previous studies that examined the effectiveness of guidance programs in reducing aggressive behavior and developing social skills. Findings consistently demonstrate the positive impact of these programs, particularly those incorporating social-emotional learning and role-playing strategies. Factors associated with aggressive behavior, such as alcohol consumption, family issues, and low academic achievement, were also identified.Despite the effectiveness of existing programs, the research highlights several gaps requiring further investigation. These include the long-term sustainability of program effects, integration of various intervention approaches, the influence of cultural and socioeconomic factors, and the development of programs tailored to specific populations. Additionally, the potential of technology in delivering guidance programs and the role of preventative factors warrant further exploration.The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of early and multifaceted guidance interventions in addressing aggressive behavior and promoting social skills development. It also highlights the critical role of educational institutions, families, and society in creating supportive environments that contribute to healthy individual growth and social-emotional development. Further research addressing identified gaps will contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of aggressive behavior and its treatment, ultimately leading to the design of more effective and tailored guidance programs for diverse populations.
