Abstract
This research aims to clarify one of the symptoms of structure in the nominal sentence and its attachments, which is the symptom of precedence and delay, as precedence and delay would not have occurred in eloquent speech without controls controlling it, but rather would have been for rhetorical secrets, jokes, and moral purposes that would not have been performed except in the manner in which the speech was arranged. In the (nominal) sentence, he put forward what deserves delay, and last what deserves precedence, and the purposes of introduction are many that many grammarians have mentioned, and a group of scholars have also referred to it, and among the most famous of those who referred to this is Sibawayh when he said: (It is as if they are only giving precedence to that which its explanation is more important to them, and that is By His explanation I mean, even though they both concern them and concern them (Sibawayh, 1: 34). Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani states that it is not enough to say that the introduction was due to care and attention without mentioning where that care came from, and how important it was? (Al-Jurjani, 2005, 87) Keywords: introduction - delay - syntactic incident - related items of the nominal sentence.
