The effect of organizational silence on job performance evaluation (A field study on Zawia University administration employees)

Abstract

Abstract of the study: This study aimed to identify the level of organizational silence among employees of the University of Zawia, as well as to identify the level of performance evaluation among employees, and also to determine the impact of the elements of organizational silence (silence of submission, defensive silence, and social silence) on performance evaluation among employees. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was used, and a random sample of (210) male and female employees was taken according to Morgan's table, during the year (2023_2024). Among the most prominent results reached by the researcher from the results of the statistical analysis, it was found that there is a statistically significant correlation at a significance level of ≥ 0.05 between organizational silence and performance evaluation at the University of Zawia. It also showed that there is a statistically significant correlation at a significance level of ≤ 0.05 between silence of submission and performance evaluation at the University of Zawia, as well as a statistically significant relationship at a significance level of ≤ 0.05 between defensive silence and performance evaluation at the University of Zawia, and also a relationship between positive social silence and performance evaluation at the University of Zawia.
