Main Article Content
Abstract
The .purpose .of .this .study .is .to .review .the .literature .on .carbon .reduction .in .the .supply .chain .over .the .past .few .years .and .to .present .drivers, .barriers and .performance .indicators. The .issue .of .reducing .carbon .emissions .is .frequently .debated, as .unplanned .and .irresponsible .actions .by .industries .pose .potential .threats .to .sustainability. Companies .are .now .trying .to .minimize .environmental .impact .by .integrating .environmental .concerns .into .their .supply .chain .operations. In .order .to .reduce .carbon .emissions, the .industry .faces .different .drivers, .barriers .and .performance .indicators. Given .the .diversity of .problems .encountered, .the .practices .adopted .to .reduce .carbon .emissions .are .very .varied. Thirty .papers .were .collected .from .previous .studies .and .related .to .discussion .points. The .result .showed .that .good .coordination .with .different .media .in .the .supply .chain .system .would .achieve .common .targets .for .reducing .gas .emissions.
