Abstract

This study critically examines the phenomenon of cosmic energy healing from philosophical and scientific perspectives within the cultural and social transformations of the Arab world. The research aims to contextualize the concept of cosmic energy, critique the theoretical and anthropological foundations of related healing practices, and analyze their psychological and social impacts.

The study reveals that the concept of cosmic energy is rooted in ancient philosophical and spiritual traditions but lacks empirical scientific evidence to support its effectiveness as a medical treatment. It also highlights the important psychological and spiritual dimensions of these practices, which fulfill human needs for meaning and inner balance, despite their exclusion from conventional medical therapies.

The research concludes that cosmic energy healing represents a symbolic system reflecting the human quest for spiritual and psychological healing, requiring a balanced approach that combines scientific critique with philosophical interpretation to understand its place and significance in contemporary consciousness.
