Abstract

technological advancement and globalization, offering a modern alternative to traditional education, which often reduces the learner to a passive recipient. By using advanced technologies and modern educational tools, learners can acquire skills and experiences regardless of time and place.

E-learning is also regarded as a progressive educational philosophy that evolves with modernity and incorporates various features and benefits provided by modern technologies. Through an analysis of previous studies, the researcher affirms that e-learning has moved beyond the theoretical stage and become an essential reality. It is especially needed in Libyan educational institutions to overcome pedagogical challenges and improve the quality of graduates and trained personnel. Achieving this requires establishing proper infrastructure, creating educational platforms, ensuring internet connectivity, and training both teachers and administrative staff. It also involves developing integrated educational environments and digital libraries.

Based on the study results, the researcher recommends several actions: encouraging scientific research in the field of e-learning in Libya by allocating financial support; enhancing electronic libraries and information centers in schools; involving educators in promoting this mode of education; developing training programs for teachers and students; training staff to design electronic curricula and presenting this to research centers; organizing seminars; urging Libyan universities to adopt long-term planning for e-learning programs; and conducting studies to assess the relationship between distance learning and academic achievement
