Abstract
This study aimed at identifying psychosocial adjustment according to the following variables: educational level, social status, duration of the disease and age. The purposive sample of study included (60) woman with breast cancer from the visitors of the National Cancer Center in Benghazi. The Choucair scale (2003) was applied after confirming the psychometric characteristics of the scale (Validity and stability). The results of the study showed a high level of psychosocial compatibility among the sample and there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of women with breast cancer on the study tool attributed to variables (educational level, social status and age Duration of the disease). And based on these results the researcher has provided a number of proposed recommendations.
