Reasons for widespread unemployment among graduates of Libyan universities (A study applied to a sample of Zawia University graduates)

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the causes of widespread unemployment among university graduates in general and Zawia University in particular. A simple random sample of Zawia University graduates for the academic year 2018/2019 was drawn from the faculties of engineering, science and arts, and it consisted of (150) graduates from Zawia University. Collect data and information using the questionnaire data collection tool, using the descriptive and analytical approach. The research reached results including:

Until the level of social effects of unemployment was low to high.-

-The economic effects of unemployment among university graduates were high to very high.

- The lack of job opportunities for university graduates and its relationship to unemployment was low or moderate
