The impact of digital transformation in building a knowledge society (Case study of faculty members at Zawia University)

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the impact of digital transformation on building a knowledge society for faculty members at Zawia University. The researcher in the study used the descriptive analytical approach through a questionnaire form to collect data and information, analyze and interpret them using (SPSS) programs, which contain a package of statistical options. The study concluded to a set of results:

1 - The results showed that there is agreement among the sample members that the level of digital transformation at Zawia University in its dimensions (institutional, technical, functional) was at a level of low to medium.

2 - There is agreement among the sample members that the level of the knowledge society in terms of its dimensions (knowledge governance dimension, development dimension, educational dimension) in general was low.

3 -There is a statistically significant impact of digital transformation with its institutional, developmental and educational dimensions in building a knowledge society.
