The University of Zawia Journal of Natural Sciences charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support the publication of high-quality research in our open access journal. This APC enables us to maintain rigorous peer-review standards and make all published content freely available to readers worldwide. The APC is payable only after the manuscript has received final acceptance.

APC Waiver Policy

The University of Zawia Journal of Natural Sciences offers APC waivers to ensure financial barriers do not prevent qualified researchers from publishing their work. APC waivers are available in the following circumstances:

Students & Early Career Researchers

Full-time students and researchers within 5 years of completing their PhD

Low-Income Countries

Authors from countries classified as low-income by the World Bank

Special Circumstances

Cases of genuine financial hardship or exceptional circumstances

To request an APC waiver: Please contact the editorial office at jns@zu.edu.ly with a brief explanation of your circumstances before submitting your manuscript. APC waiver requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
