The Reality of E-Government Implementation and its Impact on Improving the Efficiency of Banking Operations: A Field Study in Al-Khums Branch of the Republic Bank

This study aims to investigate the current status of electronic management implementation Jumhouria Bank (Al-Khoums Branch) and measure its impact on improving banking operations efficiency. The study adopted the descriptive methodology and utilized a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool from a sample of (33) employees across various administrative and financial levels within the bank. The study concluded that the transition toward electronic management fundamentally contributes to streamlining procedures and reducing human errors, thereby enhancing the bank's competitive advantage. It also highlighted the technical and human challenges that may limit the full effectiveness of these systems in the local environment. The descriptive analysis results showed that the level of electronic management implementation at Al-Khums Branch was "high," with an overall arithmetic mean of (3.83). This reflects the success of the executive management in preparing the organizational and technical environment for digital transformation, indicating an actual transition from traditional paper transactions to automated systems. Based on these findings, the study recommended bridging the existing training gap by designing sustainable training programs and establishing an internal training unit within the branch to enhance operational efficiency
