E-Learning Competencies and Skills of Faculty Members at the University of Zintan and Their Level of Practice (A Field Study of Selected Faculties at the University of Zintan)

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the e-learning capabilities and skills of faculty members at Zintan University and to determine the extent to which they utilize them. The study focused on answering the following questions:
- What e-learning capabilities and skills must faculty members at Zintan University possess?
- To what extent do faculty members possess and practice the necessary e-learning skills and capabilities?
- Is there a relationship between the extent to which faculty members at Zintan University possess the necessary e-learning skills and capabilities and the extent to which they practice them?
To achieve the research objectives, the researcher employed a descriptive-analytical approach to describe and analyze the facts and data related to the research topic, aiming to interpret and analyze them in order to reach the following results:
- The results indicate a statistically significant correlation between capabilities and skills and their actual application by faculty members; this can be attributed to the fact that faculty members at Zintan University operate within similar academic environments regarding available resources and facilities provided by the university.
- The results also indicate that the conceptual aspects of e-learning have not been adequately grasped by the faculty members
